Myth 5# By increasing the thermostat, the room will heat up faster

Most people believe that in order to heat their rooms faster, they can simply do it by increasing the thermostat. But, the thermostat do not work that way. When you select a temperature on the thermostat, it is called the set point. When the temperature in your room goes below this set point, the thermostat will send a signal to hear the room. Again, when the set point is reached, the thermostat will shut down to save energy.
